Absolutely not! We understand that you chose a wonderful venue in the Bozeman area because you wanted your event to be unique, elegant and fun. Our DJ’s are professional, fun and inspiring—never scripted or cheesy.
Do you have cocktail hour and dinner music that’s NOT elevator music?
Yes! We have a rich library of cool, eclectic cocktail and dining music, and will discuss your preferences in advance to make sure our selections meet your expectations.
How can we preview the Bozeman DJ in action?
We are happy to provide references from past brides and grooms and set up an interview with your potential DJ. Unfortunately, due to privacy concerns, we do not have the right to invite future clients to our current clients’ events.
Can I meet my DJ before I decide to book or before my event?
Of course! We encourage face-to-face meetings and client-dj collaboration in advance of every event when possible. We also recommend an in person meeting as close to the event date as possible to ensure that all the details are worked out. That said, we work with out-of-state clients all the time and a Skype meeting or phone interview is also possible.
Can I book online or do I have to call?
How far will Bozeman DJ travel for an event?
Bozeman DJ will travel up to 2 hours, one way, from Bozeman. There will be a minimal travel charge applied.
Can you play songs from our playlist?
Yes. We love to combine your guidance with our years of experience in motivating crowds on the dance floor! Using our helpful online forms you let us know your preferred musical stylings and we guarantee to have them ready at your event.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are covered by a policy of $1 million in liability.
Can we have a “don’t play” list?
Yes. We highly suggest this. The “Don’ts” are as important, if not more important, than the “Dos.”
Do you also act as our MC (announcing toasts, first dance, cutting of cake)?
Yes. Our DJ’s plan the evening with you in advance and then walk you and your guests through every step of your event. But if preferred, we can be as minimally involved on the microphone as you so desire. We also understand the focus is on the client or the Bride and Groom and we will not be overbearing on the mic.
Do you provide wireless microphones for officiants and other speakers?
Yes. Top-quality wireless microphones are available.
Will my DJ dress according to the dress code of my event?
Yes. We do not wear tuxedos, but we will arrive properly dressed for your Montana wedding or event.
What time will the Bozeman DJ arrive to our event?
We’ll arrive a minimum of one hour prior to the contracted start time to set up.
What do you need the venue/client to provide?
A table, skirted or with tablecloth, near the dance floor with electricity within 50 feet of dj area. If outside, we require ample shading and protection from inclement weather for the dj and dj equipment.
Do you need to see the room you’ll be working in before the day of my event?
No. Our DJ’s are trained professionals, able to work with virtually any space.
Does the DJ need to be at the rehearsal for the ceremony?
No, our DJ’s have done tons of ceremonies in Butte, Big Sky, Livingston, Paradise Valley, Chico Hot Springs and as long as we know the correct songs to play, we will nail the cues!
Will our Bozeman DJ need a break? If so, what happens during this time?
Music plays continuously. If a meal is offered, your DJ will queue up a few songs that will play continuously, eat quickly, and then return to his station.
Do you have a backup plan in case of DJ illness or family emergency?
While these instances are extremely rare, we always have an extra DJ on standby. We also have one DJ on call at all times to ensure that if any emergencies do arise, you are covered.
Do you have a backup plan in case of equipment malfunction?
Our equipment is state-of-the-art and carefully maintained—but we always have a backup system, too.
How far ahead should we book your services?
10-12 months is the minimum for our best DJ’s —and it’s best to book a year or more in advance for the owner Paul Churchill.
Can we change our booking time when we get closer to our event date?
Yes, we only require an estimated time for the contract and that can me modified anytime before the wedding.
Do you use a written contract?
We use a contract that is emailed to clients and then the contract is signed, and then returned with a deposit check.
Are your deposits refundable?
Deposits are 100% refunded 6 months before the date and 1/2 months before the date.
Are there any hidden cost that I need to know about?
No! Our contracts are very detailed and upfront about cost. Ceremony and Reception cost are all inclusive. This also includes set up and tear down. You get Unlimited time until Midnight. After midnight, there is a $150 charge per hour.

One week before your event date!
